'Reuben gave an excellent talk on bullying which tied into our work on Bí Cineálta, he held the students attention for an hour and had everyone in stitches! I would highly recommend this talk.'

- Lynda McHale, Principal, The Teresian School, Donnybrook, Co. Dublin

WHAT'S IN THE SHOW?

Students laugh at comedy workshop in school on bullying
A show for 9-16 year olds. An ideal anti-bullying workshop but with laughs the whole way through! Pupils learn how humans have developed the ability to copy each other to speak a language or to gain a skill but this backfires when someone bullies another and the crowd joins in. Students learn that a lot of bullying starts as a joke but a sense of humour takes time to perfect and we can hurt people during the process. Pupils learn that they should never underestimate the power of a bystander - even just one person can change how a crowd acts and can save someone from a terrible situation. The show also emphasises the importance of letting a teacher know when you've been bullied.

All of this is learnt through a high-energy, highly-interactive Comedy Show - this is not a lecture!
